    Default ITA escort

I run in the ITB class right now but was thinking of moving up and looking at some numbers i was looking into a 98-00 ford escort for the ITA class, yes i know i'm a ford man. On paper it looks like pretty good contender. Would be better than the ITB mustang i have now. Oh well , just throwing the idea around.

yes if you look at the whole package and look at it from an IT mind that we all have its not a bad little car. with the weight having to be 2400lbs and a nicely tuned ztec motor in IT trim i feel it just might be a front runner in class, sort of a diamond in the rough.lite weight front wheel drive with a nice revving motor in IT trim/tune with the suspension mods we're aloud and of course the ability to tune the ecm, who knows.

I agree. However, I am more vintage-Escort oriented.

My gf had a zx2 street car, was fun as hell to drive until some idiot wrecked her. The only thing bad about it was the steering. It was incredibly numb, much like in my Ford F-150. Otherwise, these cars can be made pretty fast.

I run a 95 EGT, sister a 91 EGT, friend in Mass runs a 91EGT. We just had all three together at New Hampshire for the first race of the season. Fun little car.
