I'm not really up on the 928 so I went to wiki and found this:

219hp '78-'79
229hp '80-'82
239hp '83-'84
288hp '85-'86
316hp '87-'91 (S4)
326hp '89-'91 (GT)
345hp '92-'95

So it looks like 219hp only gets you the first couple of years, your '80 already has 229hp. Looks like the '84 is about as new as can be classed. Also note that the 4.7 makes about 295hp in the rest of the world, so the S motor in the '83 and later cars would probably blow the class away if they were allowed in. Then you're left with only the 4.5l cars of '78-'82 only, with the weight set for 229hp. Sounds about like a 3300lbs to me, right about the curb weight of the car.
