GCR states that the rotors must not be modified except for truing and such...
however no mention is made about the calipers... if i run the factory size and dimension rotors... am I allowed to use aftermarket calipers??

Actually, you can, as long as they are exactly the same as stock. See the replacement rule for exact details.
But....it is NOT a chance to change the metal or the piston size or anything...just an option to source the same part thru another channel.
