Hey dude, two things to keep in mind. One, sometimes responses come quicker when people use their give name. Two, if your car is a BMW you might get better response on this IT site if you posted within the BMW forum.

+ missing info along the lines of: "what displacement M20 (anywhere from 2.0-2.7?), what chokes in the carb bodies, what gearing & tire diameter, what RPM range you're tuning for, state of tune of the motor (compression), etc. etc. etc.

For most 2 litre motors, 48s are waaaaaaaaaay too much carb, unless you're spinning it at 8000rpm and don't really want to have any driveability below 5000rpm.

And it's not legal in IT.

    Hey guys,

I think you have been responding to a spambot.

    Or maybe not.

Best to err on the cold side. Hotter plugs tend to detonate with higher compression Dyno fuel and ignition first. GL

OK, I've merged the SEVEN or so topics this user has created into one, and edited the title...making it easier should we decide to delete the topic.

So here's the question: legitimate or not? Spambot or not? Troll or not?

Vote to kick off the island, or treat this as legitimate, though misguided, questions...?
