    Very. As long as you maintain them, they'll run forever. The only engines I've failed were due to a faulty rod bolt, and from melting pistons due to running too much timing and not enough fuel.

    In fact, I accidentally revved mine to 10,317.04 RPM (or thereabouts) at the ARRC; the guys replaced a couple of broken rocker arms and we were back on track...
