Specific Model? For all 3 of you?

BTW, have you thought about the ARRC? It looks like there'll be a "few" people there:

Man that's not right! I have the itch and really got it after talking to Paul Ronnie at Daytona I am just having a hard time getting off work.
Xian it was a blast running with ya at Daytona I will have to get the video up on the site. Some great clean racing.

Ya never know I just might make it to the ARRC.
    Later.
Oh yeah and I stole your line about the lunch box!!!!

Rockin! Come on up for the race if you can get off the time. It is without a doubt the best racing you'll ever find. I had the best race f the season last year at the ARRC scrapping in the middle of the ITA pack. Clean and fast racing around a great facility.

Same here. If I don't see you at the ARRC, I'll look forward to racing against you next season. Let me know if you get any video up from the weekend, I'd love to see it. You can also find me over on www.rr-ax.com under the same user name.

We did kind of have an e-mail list going with all three of us........But SOMEONE decided to sell their car!!

Go to the ARRC. Unfortunately due to a really large outlay of cash for the rest of the season, I'm going to have to skip it this year. But if you're getting the most out of your engine, the Saturn loooooves the back straight at Road Atlanta!!

Just stay out of the gravel!!

Hey OB if you come to the ARRC you better hire a security guard for your car. Mine still smells along now
with eveything inside my trailer. Paybacks are hell punk.

Looking forward to a bunch of laughs if you can make it

My only ARRC memory of the back straight was of the SP car (a souped up GT1 car) passing me. I swear, I exited 7, got 1/3 of the way down the straight, looked back in my mirror and saw him exiting 7 and, before I could look back straight he was passed me, nearly pulling my car completely to the other side of the track!

Anyone know a good source of windshields for a first gen SL2?

See if you have a company called Safelite Glass.
    Very reasonable and fast .
I found out the hard way when i lost a strap on the rear and I had to lock em up and my car leaped forward into my tire carrier in turn smashing my windsheild.
    165.00 plus tax.
    for my 97 SC2.

I get the same thing here when we run with the GT cars at Daytona on the high banks................all you see in your rearview is a dot and then something whizzzes by you at 150 plus EEEEEEEEK!
then they park it in the corners..lol I dont get that.

Holy crap! They are cheap! $255 for a windshield is a GREAT price! Of course, the rear window is still over $1000...

Or, you can just buy a $500 running SC parts car and pull it off of there!!

I think in that situation, the junk yard is your friend. I know, I know, pulling class is not easy. I've done it.

Remember, though, I have an SL2 - the sedan. The rear window is not only curved around the body, but also curves out at the bottom. It is a very complex (for a glass window, anyway) design.

And, yes, I have a spare. The current one was taken out once (when we built the car), so I know it can be done (though the glass guys that do it swear a lot and take no responsibility if they break it).
