I'd love to run the Our Enduro at Buttonwillow, but as my car has a 12 gal fuel tank, I could only get half-way at best. They allow a team effort, with multiple cars. Josh would you be interested?

James, don't they have "mandatory" stops specified? I know that our 4 hour RDC Enduro, we specify that you need at least 2 ea 5 min pit stops, so that you can re-fuel the car safely.

Cars get penalized for fuel spillage in the pit lane, or if the crew members aren't wearing the appropriate safety devices.

So, the ideal setup is 3 drivers, driving around 75-80 minutes per stint.

    Hey Tim,

Yes there are mandatory stops, but we're also allowed to tag-team too. Last season there were several teams of Miata' and SRX-7's. I've not run more than a sprint race, 3hrs is pretty far into unknown territory. I only estimated that I could get 1.5hrs out of a full tank as I can almost get three practice sessions before I have to come in due to fuel starvation in the faster corners. If I could team up with two others (cars and drivers) we'd each get an hour of run time, and I wouldn't have to worry about running out of fuel. Just putting feelers out at this point.

Interesting, an enduro but you can use multiple cars. Kind of defeats the purpose of an "enduro" but sounds different.

    Hey Tim,

We've got teams of SM's and Pro-7's that run like this, the wear is reduced on each car and you don't have to worry about filling up with fuel, so it may be slightly safer.

As for me I'm out now so, never mind <_<
