I purchased an AEM intake for another Honda model which other 2nd gen Prelude owners said would fit, but of course it doesn't. In order to make if work, I need to obtain ~ 1 - 2 ft of 2.75" aluminum tubing. I've done many searches but have yet to find this size tube available anywhere. I even called AEM to see if they'd sell me some, but they wouldn't and suggested using exhaust pipe. I went to a local exhaust shop and while the pipe is 2.75" in diameter, it is very heavy and thick. Any ideas?

    www.shapirosupply.com

You might have to call them as their website's not really useful anymore with material prices changing daily.

    www.mcmaster.com

Without a doubt, the best searchable website I have found in that industry.

Excellent - this was a huge help!

(Several of the places didn't have the 2.75" (had 2.5" and 3" among other sizes).)

I bought a couple intake kits off Ebay for a 90-93 Acura Integra and they had 2.75 tubing and were fairly long. $9.95 plus freight. Fit my Renault nicely!
