Busy wiring my dash and I would like to have a Warning light for water and oil temp when they reach a certain temperature. Longacre and other companies sell these for NPT threads but I am unable to find anyone that has them in metric. I could get a larger NPT one and just retap the threads in the mounting location but Im sure someone makes them in metric. Anyone know where I could find them???

    Thanks

only problem is those adapters have a very small through hole, and the sender has the part that needs to go through

I would need one that looks like this.

    Sandro,

These would allow you to use the 1/8" NPT:

They have a few more under the ISSPRO listing.

    Hope this helps.

I don't know if you have the same issue I had, but I know I screwed up a fitting just like that blue one you posted. On my toyota, I thought the threads were metric, but they were actually npt, the difference was that the tap was not run in very far at the factory. I just purchased a npt tap and ran it in a good bit further and then the water temp sending unit fit perfectly.
