This may be retarded, but at least it's not about SM. What "grease" do you guys use to lube your brake caliper slide pins? I've been using the brake caliper grease they sell at the auto parts stores, but that stuff seems almost too thin and it feels like the slide pin scrapes against the bore at times. I think some people may be using anti-seize, but what kind? What do you guys use?

Used to use lithium grease (the white stuff) because back in the 70’s it was recommended for high heat and dampness. For the last couple of years I have been using valvoline synthetic grease (dark red). It is high heat and I also use it for wheel bearings.

i use the high temperature wheel bearing grease. it might say something about disc brakes on it too. no issues.

but i have a crx that is fairly easy on brakes. may not be the best example.

Silicon grease from NAPA. My bet is that's what is in the little packet you had.

    No grease.

I guess my caliper pins are wrapped in a thick teflon wrap, so it's not necessary
