No lie! There was a guy at Mid-Ohio last week at the IRL/ALMS races who was selling - get this - a motorized cooler that you could ride on. It even had an auxiliary cooler/trailer that a second person could ride on!

Tried to talk the crew chief into one but she vetoed that idea!

    I've ridden one...
In a way, it's not really as good as any of the things it combines. Low cooler capacity, not especially comfortable, adequate speed, but no wheelies.....and handling? bad, very very bad! And thats NOT something you want to be bad after a beer or three!

    But.....it has pretty good range!

Not sure how many chicks you can pick up with it though, LOL.

Probably that, just like we did at Gingerman last weekend. Nice and simple.

    Jeff,

I was thinking something along those lines? Maybe a silly little trophy of some kind? There was going to be another Neon coming down, but it looks like the date conflicts.

OK, so it looks like a total of 5 cars so far. Not bad!! 2 Neons, a Charger, a Capri and a Saturn.

Well, at least I can count on a top five in the AMITA Championship!! Sweeeeeet!

Quick question, can't seem to find it in the supps: what fuel is available at Mid-Ohio, and at what price?

    Thanks,

There are credit card operated gas pumps on site. 93 octane. I'm not sure of the current price, I know Bill Stevens gave me numbers in the $6 range about a month ago. There are gas stations about 3 miles down the road in Lexington.

If I remember correctly, it is:

    93 unleaded @ $4.75/gallon

98 leaded @ $7.00/gallon(it may be unleaded, it's "the fuel of NASCAR")

    106 leaded @ $7.00/gallon

    110 leaded @ $7.00/gallon

This is from memory. I looked at the pumps a couple of weeks ago and suffered sticker shock. I haven't used anything but 87 pump gas since 2000, so I had forgotten.

    Hope this helps

    Dave

I think Todd has it right.........buy it down the road in Lexington.

Except the Capri is actually German built.
