I could swear that this changed from a few days ago.

Pocono group 5 now lists ITB, ITR, ITS, ITA, ITC, SRX7.

All IT in one run group? That will be interesting!

They did. G6 was too small so they split them bewteen IT and SM.

Right now we've got a total of about 160 registered cars for the Saturday Regional. Decision to consolidate the Race Groups. And we've got a very long day planned for the Volunteers, so the IT Group will be big - as long as everyone gets through Turn 1 we'll be OK, right?

Let's just be fair to all the DRIVERS as well.

G1 has 19 drivers (GTL, T3, EP, FP, GP, HP, SPU, SRF, Legends, DP)
G2 has 27 (FF, CF, NCF, FV, F500, FST)
G3 has 33 (SM, SSB, SSC, SSM and you are proposing to move 4 SSM's out)
    G4 has 11 (GT1, GT2, GT3, ITE, AS, T1, T2, SPO, ST, BP, CGT1, CGT2)
G5 has 38 (ITB, ITR, ITS, ITA, ITC, SRX7 and you are proposing to move 4 SSM's in)
    G6 is now gone
    G7 has 14 (HRG1, HRG2, HRG3, HRG4, HRG5)
G8 has 16 (FA, FC, FM, FS, S2000, ASR, CSR, DSR, CFC, FB, FE, SRSCCA)

While I understand wanting to seperate SM and SSM so that members can double dip, let's not do it at the expense of a 42-car group with cars ranging in speed from ITR to ITC. This creates a 42 cars group when the next largest is 29. Slap them in G1 and call it a day! We are about to have 26% of the cars in one run group.

Looking at the run groups, I would much rather run with group one............... I hate to be negative but the speed differential is going to be huge..........

Or you can put ITA in with the HR guys. I'm SURE they wouldn't mind!!

Unfortunately my ITR beast has an insane rod bearing issue right now. Bang your stapler off your desk at work as hard as you can and that is what my engine sounds like! Slight chance I'll be there to try to keep from getting lapped by ya for memorial day, but more likely the 300zx will reappear at NHIS in July.

With all of the IT classes running in the same group I'm sure there will be a lot of duplicate car numbers. I guess we will have the opportunity to get creative making 3's into a 6's.
