After reading through Ron's thread asking who all was racing a Z I thought I would start a thread for us to post a picture of our Z's. I know I remember cars better than persons sometimes

Thought I would start it off with one from Talladega last month at a track day. Thanks Wes Duenkel for the pic!

I'd add a picture, but I can't figure out how.

Mine's white with red and blue squigglys

My car is always on jack stands. Do you want that shot?

I hope to have a track picture after Roebling this coming weekend.

I like that yellow Z, got any front shots of it?

Ditto. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only picture posting challenged one. I see the file attachment command line, but I can't tell if that actually displays the photo in the body of the message or not.

Ron, I do have some front shots and I will try to get one up later today. I actually prefer that you only see it from the rear though

To post a picture you have to use the file attachment feature. If you notice under the file attachment it will tell you how much "global Space" you have left to post images. The picture you want to post must be smaller than the "space" you have left. If it is, then you can browse to the file and then press "add the attachment" and it will upload. If it doesn't, you will see the post box pop up and above it there will be text saying something to the effect that the file is too large.

Hope that helps. I will try to get another pic up later today.

    1. take a mental note or write down where your picture is saved on your computer. example: my computer icon, then C: drive, then pictures folder, then picture name

    2. create an account here http://photobucket.com/ (top right in red where it says join) It's free, do not close webpage

    3. once in your photobucket account, click browse (this browses files in your computer), select the picture you want to upload and double click on it (you will only see the name of the file, not the picture)

    4. Very small picture should appear on photobucket page along with the file name, click upload, this should take a few seconds

    5. scroll down, picture should appear, leave that page open

    6. open another internet page and to go itforums.com, go to this thread & hit reply

    7. go back to your photobucket page and click on the IMG code box, once everything is highlighted in blue, right click and copy

    8. go back to itforums.com, click paste, example: IMG]****your image name here***[/IMG

    9. preview it to make sure it's good and hit submit, you could write anything you like before and after both [IMG], but not in between the two [IMG]

    Notes:
-you must have pictures in your computer for you to upload it and keep it hosted, when you delete your picture from your computer, it will no longer be hosted/seen
-1 picture per browse box on photobucket site, you can save time buy browsing/selecting many pictures at once and uploading them at the same time
-photobucket is one of many sites that do this, this is the one I've been using forever and works on almost every forum on the internet
-don't get discouraged, try again if it doesn't work the first time
-hope this helps, now lets see some cars!

On a lighter note, would these make good race wheels? :P

just testing to see if this whole uploading thing still works...

You can use the "Add this Attachment" function below. Pic size is limited. You can also have your pic hosted by someone say Photobucket and attach the link. Use preview to test the post out. Below is Guy Marvin in his sweet ITS 240Z. He ran it in EP at Roebling this year & took third.

I'll give this a shot. I hope I'm attaching a photo from the July 2006 race at Road Atlanta. That's David Kim of Birmingham in front of me in the blue and white Z.

Paul, I plan to race down at Roebling this weekend but I've never raced there, so don't worry - I'll be viewing you from the rear for sure!

Nice picture coming down there, cool field!

Ron, I won't be there this time, but soon :P I hope you have the stones to hang it out at turn 9 onto the front straight. Just don't try to catch it if you track out into the grass. It will hook you right into the wall Lots of runoff room to boot.

Just giving you a hard time as I feel certain you would see the rear of my car............................................... ...........

    as I was being lapped

Here is a side/front shot from the same track day but a different photographer.

I'll give this a shot. I hope I'm attaching a photo from the July 2006 race at Road Atlanta. That's David Kim of Birmingham in front of me in the blue and white Z.

Nice, two Z's at the front. I haven't met David. I did meet Bobby Bitterman at the track day last month in the x-Katman car.

I am just up the road in the Rocket City

FWIW there are 6 Z cars registered for CMP's SARRC races. I'll be there shooting plenty of photos.
