Last year was our first year in SCCA. Our main goal was to get a reasonably reliable car together to get maximum seat time for our available 'budget'. We found out that if your plan is to fix up a street car (even a Porsche) to go racing, you will always be fixing up a street car to go racing. So now, we are completey going through the car. We are rebuilding, replacing, cleaning, painting everything that would be considered critical on a race car - which is almost everything.
We are currently a little over our racing budget, so we may not have the greatest tires the first couple of races, but later in the season we should be at full speed.
This is a 10/10 build... on our budget - I don't know how that relates to other people's 10/10 builds. I do have free access to a lot of really cool race car stuff that most teams don't have though.

cage is in and as far as we have got on the project. no time or no money,cant seem to get both at the same time for some reason. kid in college makes hole in bucket bigger every month seems like. good luck and have too much fun doing it.
