-This question might have come up before and I probably missed it . In building the new ITS car I am removing items such as sunroof mechanism , power seats , power windows for install of nascar bars . Question is, can I remove wire harnesses to these components?

I'd say be glad you've still got all the wireing and leave it in. Lack of wire harness for all the standard niceities that my car came with is one of the factors that will keep me and my Z3 out of ITR. Best bet is to wrap and tape it up into a ball and bolt it to the lowest part of the door, floor, or where ever it lay.

Unless when that car was purchased new it was available without sunroof and power windows AND cars such equipped had no wiring harnesses installed for the non-existant options. In that case, pull them out.
