There are a number of Pocono layouts used by race clubs; North, East, South and Long (and maybe another...I forget).

Go here (Google Video) and you can find lots of them:

Matt, there are the results from the 2006 race. The past 3 years have been static as far as the course that NNJ runs. Clockwise using the T4 infield out to Devil's Elbow - to a chicane at the exit of T2 and then all the way past start/finish. This is a lap using the config...it's basically a 5 turn autox then 2 HUGE straights interupted by a chicane.

Andy why did you post such a boring video? I think this one is a little more exciting.

One on my favorite races ever was with Jeff Harding at Pocono last year - came from the back of the field to the front and traded 3rd with Jeff - bump drafting and going over 140 mph in the Mazda was just fantastic - and its nice when you are compfortable enough with the other drivers to do that stuff. I just looked at my in car video again - Jeff - if you want to check it out send me a note and I'll mail it to you. Ya got me for third

Hey Joe - mail me that video! It would be cool to see the RX7 in action. I understand it is running up front in the SE Div down in Florida these days. Still dynos at 180 according to the father and son team who bought it.

    Ben,
Not to hijack the thread, but how is the Fiero coming along and when do you see having it on the track?

Yo Bill - Fiero is coming along nicely - got it making some very good power with additional development being done on the exhaust. Still haven't put in the cage but that is looking like May/June. All other parts have been assembled for total conversion. Trick suspension has been purchased but using some older Koni reds that I hope will do one season but the rest of the setup is good. Now that it's getting warmer I'll be wrenching more. Gotta have you over for the annual tech - I'll call ya.

Try looking up Pocono on YouTube (or any other track for that matter) - I know you can find some Pocono video there. While you're at it - look up Spa and Eau Rouge - some amazing in car stuff.
