    Hello All....

1st of apologies if I this post is in the wrong area...

I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX Coupe that I cant find it in the rules for SCCA IT. I thought it would be an ITB, but I'm not sure if I am reading it correct...

please someone verify for me where this car would fall into?

    Thanks,

    Ben

That has the 2.2L vtec engine right? My guess is it would be an ITS car. I think the 90-93 2.2 non vtec would be an ITA car if ever classed.

If it's exactly the same spec as an earlier model Accord that's already listed, then you can reasonably count on it being in the same class. If it's not, then you'll need to get in touch with the IT ad hoc committee and get a preliminary read on it. Either way, if it's not currently in the book, you'll need to submit a request that it be listed and, when you do, make sure that you include all of the years that have the same spec as your year.

This is the 2.2 4 banger rated at 145hp and 147ft/lbs. Figure around 2735lbs minimum in ITA...that's kinds porky but it does have a 2756lb curb weight.

Thanks All for helping me out...

It isnt in the guide so I will have to request it be listed/classed.

I wanted originally to make this a MASA Honda Challenge car but I wouldnt mind it being bot SCCA and NASA...

    Thanks once more.
