I guess the 1st winner of any ITR race and new track recorder holder (sorry John, I can't remember where you raced) goes to John Norris from California. Damn I guess he's in the history books!

I see that only 2 ITR cars entered a Sebring, FLA race but were slower than the ITS cars, by close to 2.5 seconds. Lets hope we can get more ITR cars out for this years racing.

    Hey there ITR guys.

I ran in ITR at Fontana Jan 27 & 28th. Wasn't there a race in Florida before that?

At least I went the same speed as I did in old school ITS. Actually two weekends ago at Willow Springs I went a whole .010 seconds faster! We go back again later this month hopefully I'll do better. No one to race against in ITR yet, but had fun racing a T1 Corvette.

3 weeks until our first SCCA event at Heartland Park. I'll be running in ITR. It will probably be the only chance I have to get a track record :P

i think i've seen 2 or 3 other ITR cars reserve permanent numbers in MiDiv. Hell, it's already bigger than CSR!

Well, that's a start. I know of a few cars, all BMW's for now, that will be in ITR, including me. I did hear of someone in the NE that was to build a 300zx, but that's about it. I'm waiting for the final setup to be done on my car and it's still to damn cold to test.

Jake, could this be your S2? If you are building it, I'm be convinced to come up to LRP for the runoffs (I hope to make it any way ). I'd like to see the pictures too if possible.
    I'd like to run

    Summit Point

    VIR

    Mid Ohio

    Watkins Glen

    LRP

    Road Atlanta

This year. Damn I hope business picks up.

Nope, my car MIGHT be heading to the MARRS/Carolina area...time will tell. Due to some life changes (and possesing an ounce of sanity, LOL) I've decide to stick with the 7 for one more year.

The S2 in question is, I think, mid atlantic area. The Z4 as well, and I think the 300ZX is NE.

    Two questions:

1/ Did anyone race ITR before I did at Fontana Jan 27th?

    2/ Is the Z4 classified?

The S2 will be at Rockingham this weekend. Should be interesting to see what it will do -- check the entry list, it is being run by the Robertson family.

    jake is that a Z4 or a Z3? I don't think we classed any Z4s.

John, I've been looking and I believe you are the 1st ITR to race! I did see 2 ITR cars race @ Sebring but that was in Feb.

I'm pretty sure Jake meant Z3. The Z4 has the M tech engine with 300+ hp.

300zx looks good, and has to sound even better. i really hope ITR does better around here than ITS.

Travis, your right that zx does look good. I hope I run into some this year. As for ITS in your area, I don't know the numbers there but 2 years ago, the year before the SIR, it was nothing to see 20 to 26 ITS cars show up for races at tracks like Mid Ohio and Watkins Glenn. If I remember right there were good numbers showing up at Summit Point as well. Last Year the numbers dropped off but there was some great racing here in the central and NE divisions.

Too bad your in a area that the big things are tractor pulls, demolition derby's and rodeo's.

numbers? what numbers? i bet we average 2 ITS cars per event. sometimes we won't have a single entry in the class. ITA is doing well and fairly quickly growing, but the rest of IT is really struggling around here. it really sucks because i'm growing fond of an ITS Miata idea.
