Oh my, big ports and brass balls. That combination should have set a track record....

I hope Ole Blue remembers her way around the track. And yes she did have yellow wheels at one time.

I was considering going - had the hotel booked, map quested the route, paid the $$ to Ginny. But my Rex suffered a nasty stomach virus and puked its coolant all over the floor. I was hoping the freeze plugs were the problem. I wasnt so lucky. It appears the center housing is trashed. (sigh!)

And my spare 12A is down on compression.

Maybe I'll be back in time for CMP.

Random thoughts from the Garmon Perez crew:
    - Jeff Young: car looked really good
    - Ricky T: drove three different cars and ended with a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd. Is he good or is he great?
    - Rex and Justin: had a wonderful father/son weekend
    - Dennis Fortune: showed up with his Monte Carlo show car with most recent trophy in tow.
    - Allen Buie: is he the best crew chief in IT-7 ?
    - Pepe: is he the new Ricky T in IT-7?
    - Grover: what about that bumper?
    - Heather: the girl is the best female racer in the south east
    - Bob Garmon: had a big race in SM, not bad for a 68 year old champion
    - Uncle Jack: had a front row seat on driver's left in turn 6.
    - [There were some Precious moments because there needs to be.]
    - NCR should seriously consider more races at the Rock

It was a great weekend and Scott neglects to mention he raced great too. Had a lot of fun, really good to see Rex take home a 2nd and Justin finish solid his first weekend out.
