    I am pleased to announce the arrival of Nikolas Beau Schaafsma.

    Born on Feb 23 at 3:52pm, 7lbs-13oz, 20.5"

    We know he will be faster than older brother Lukas, because he was delivered with 'forced induction'.

    Mother and baby are doing well!

    Thanks guys. We are good. We are also tired.

    It is funny how your perspective changes. All of a sudden sleeping for more than 2 hours twice in one night is a good night's sleep.
