I just picked up an 020 5 speed with a Quaife LSD. What gear oil should I run? Will I need a friction modifier too?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    RedLine MTL works just fine.

I use Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil in my gearbox w/ Quaife. Friction modifiers are unnecessary since the Quaife doesn't use clutch plates. I've had my gearbox together for 5 seasons and every year Harry Puckett goes through it and gives it the thumbs up. Little to no wear on anything, and have only replaced 1 synchro in 5 seasons (and it was a used one to start with). Mobil 1 is good stuff.

The instructions with the Quaife state no special lubricant required; use the OEM Gearbox manufacturers recommendations.
