i've got a few extra blocks and trannies from former cars, current racecar and future cars.
i need to get them out of the way and am looking at storage racks but am wondering of anyone has any suggestions for innovative ways to get them off various areas of the garage floor, etc.

Warehouse racks like pictured below can be bought used for a reasonable price and can handle a lot of weight. They are expandable and if set up right you can drive under them. Even use them for hoisting if done right.
