Since there will be many of us who have never been to the Mid Ohio track, I'd love to see some videos. Besides that, it would be great to get us through the winter months (at least those in the colder climates). So, whose got video they willing to share?

    From my SSC car.

    2005 Buckeye National: http://www.godoggoracing.org/2005/MidOhio.wmv

    2005 Runoffs: http://www.godoggoracing.org/2005/Runoffs/Runoffs.wmv

The Runoffs video has a pretty exciting start, and the only time I've ever spun off during a race happened during the Buckeye. Lots of handling issues that weekend.

View Bennett's, I know him and most of guys in the video. All very good drivers. NOTE: This is the old surface and curbings. The track has changed

Video from the National SE-R Champion? Of course I can host if for ya!!

Josh, last time I studied someone's video when they spun off (Gregg Ginsberg at Summit Point) I spun in the same exact place. Doh! Maybe I shouldn't watch your video too many times. LOL

i think that this one of the neatest in cars out there because it has the mid-ohio dubbed to it so in real time you get the incar of the H1 Honda Challenge along with the track commentary.

If ya need, Dave, I have a great compilation of spins at Summit, BeaveRun, The Glen, VIR, Charlotte and Road Atlanta.

    Nothing from Mid Ohio, unfortunately.

-Gregg, who'll be trying not to spin at a MARRS race the same weekend.

Dave: Got some pretty good video. Let me get it on a disk and send to you. Slow enough that you don't have to slow down the video to get a good look at the track - 2006 configuration by the way. Even have a clip where I pass another car (ok, once was when he was standing still after he blew a cooling line, but a pass is a pass!).

That would be great Bill - thank you! I gotta say, with all that talk about food and beer (or did I just add that myself?), I'm pretty psyched about the event. Oh yeah, there will be some really fun racing too.

Now for a highjack from one of our sponsors....

Gregg, does this mean we can expect to see you on the grid in April? (hopefully in a VW or 'yota )

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.....

Question: "Will I be on track for MARRS 1?"
    Answer: "Most likely"

    There you have it.

For various Mid-Ohio track videos you can go to YOUtube Type in Mid-Ohio. The videos after July 2006 show the new shaved down curbing in the corners.

It's also worth noting that Mid-Ohio's website has a section with one-lap videos of each configuration. The driver in all the clips is Brian Till, so chances are you're getting the best line around each circuit.

Good point, I wouldn't recommend some of the lines people take around the course on YOUtube. Especially Joey Hands BMW3 launch. OUCH!
