NASA 944 CUP

NASA is talking about have the 944 cup run 40 min race on Sunday at 3:00. Sounds like more race time to work out the grid. Better for the better drivers with a bad qual time. Makes turn one less important i should think. tire managment comes into play as well.

Don't count on it. At RA last year both 30 min races were 15 min or so. The jammed too much into the weekend and had to cut the races short. Worse thatn that they didn;t tell us they were goign to do it so any strategy went out the window when the white flag flew.

Fun organization but they have some problems.
