I have not found this in the GCR, looking for answer? In a miata, can the front bumper be replaced with a after market bumper such as one from racing beat, or similiar??? or do i have to run the stock bumper and install a front air dam?

Stock bumper must be maintained, air dam (with restrictions) can be added.

    See 2007 ITCS (GCR page 302), "8. Body/Structure"

Along with the rule Greg stated be aware the the rule talks about the grille (grille pieces or no grille pieces) opening size SHALL remain the same size. As you may have viewed on the Prod there is a real interesting thread on this very subject.
