You may check with Blake Meredith... "bamfp" here or thru his website of roadracegear.com. I believe that he's selling FD's for the 88-91 chassis.

    Any particular reason you're looking for a 4.9 instead of a 4.7?

I run a Houseman 4.80. If I'd do it again, I would go with the 4.90. Approx. $1500.

Depends on were you run... with a 4.7 I hit the rev limiter at Daytona. I'd be backpedaling most of the way around the banking with a 4.9.

Daytona??? You lucky dog. I usually run short tracks, thus the low gearing.

:P j/k Daytona's pretty cool for the drafting and banking but the infield is a bit flat and lifeless. It's about an hour from home so it's tough to pass up but it's no my favorite track... I'd love to be closer to VIR or Road Atlanta!

    Mike,

I don't know if the gearing is the same, but check with Matt and see what he's running. I think he got a 4.9 for about $600. A fair price in my book.

Please visit one of my sponsors, PIC Performance - http://picperformance.com/store/scripts/news.asp, as they have the 4.9 final drive available for the CRX/Civic cable trannies for $540 plus shipping.

You won't be able to find any info about the final drives on their website as it is a new item they just recently added, but go to the contact section and shoot Al or Jim Hung an email and they'll be more than happy to take care of you.
