There's a chance that the ECU rule will be opened up to allow standalone units that don't fit inside the box. before i take a stance on this i'm wondering who makes what that will work on a miata. what is required to use these units? what sensors would i have to add? what sensors would it benefit me to add? can i use the OEM wiring harness? what's it cost?

    discuss.

Your overall options will depend on how the rule actually ends up. It's still up in the air whether the new rule will allow a complete re-wire and additional sensors or will require the stock sensors and harness be utilized. PM me for details of our systems. We will have a mostly plug-n-play unit for the 1.8L cars. This system should satisfy either end of the new rule spectrum if it goes through as it will utilize stock sensors and wiring.
