I just wanted to share my happyness with everyone. This past Sat at Willow Springs I got my first class win. It was a little tainted, I'll admit. There were two of us racing in ITB. But the other guy broke. And didnt have any incidences all weekend. Regardless of how, I still have to count this as my 1st win. There will never again be a first so this is it.

I'm very happy and many thanks all my sponsors for thier help.

Nice job Stacey. Always glad to see an IT.com-er score a win. That's probably the first for a Probe, right??

(And you thought it should be in ITC... )

Did you have a tear in your eye on the cool down lap? I know I did on my first win (in ITB as well) Congrats!

Congrats, don't fret the field. You can only do battle with whoever shows up. Put it in your offical win column! I bet you are already looking for number 2.

Thanks everyone, thank you soooooo much.. I didnt shed a tear then, but after reading all the love you all are showing me, I am now..

    thanks,
    Racy-Stacey..

    Woo HOO!!

And John the rain racing was better than i though it would be. My driving style is a little on the loose side so the car and I were one. I would have finished higher over all but the miata in front of me was playing it cautious and was slow through 1 and 2 and even a little of three.. I almost honked my horn at him.((giggles)).

Yeah, I new the car was a little too quick for ITC.. I'm glad I can run with the seasoned drivers now.

    Thanks again guys..

Yes I do plan on being there. I love the whole corner workers dressed up thing.. It really helps to find them out there on course. I laugh under my helmet also as I go buy some of them.. I know eyes on the road, but I only take a peek.. ha ha ..

Wow! What kind of corner workers do you have up there?!?!? I think I'll have to come out there just to see if I can get above the going rate! (probably not...)

Re: Corners worker in costume at Buttonwillow

The first time you go flying over a blind crest at Buttonwillow and find a corner worker dressed as an angel, you are thinking "hmm, perhaps I might not make this..."
