I'm looking through the GCR and their spec lines are a little screwy. The Si for example is listed twice at two different weights and with different brake specs. If I'm not mistaken, every factory spec for the EX's and the Si's should be exactly the same except for maybe the body dimensions. I think I recall this issue being resolved in a Fast Tracks earlier this year, but I can't recall when or how. So what's the correct weight for these cars? Is it 2305 or 2330? Also, what's the correct brake size?

    Thanks.

Someone on the ITAC may be able to confirm or deny this but I wouldn't be surprised if the weights did NOT get changed to be the same. That's not an Errors and Omissions thing (like brake size would be) and that small difference would probably have been outside of the range of misses addressed by the Great Realignment.

I noticed this a year ago and it has been changed in the past few mounths. I think all 92-95 civic si and ex are at 2330 with the bigger brakes. I don't think the si or the ex had the smaller brakes. I thought that was on the vx and cx. I'll dig up my notes when I get home.

It was the june issue of fastrack. The 94-95 civic si vtec line was deleted and then it says see 92-95 civic si. In the same issue they gave the civic dx a big weight break.

Ok, thanks Scott! I figured you might now. So for the Si, 2330lbs it is with the 262/201 brakes.

Did they also bump the EX's weight up to 2330 in that same Fastracks? In the GCR the "Honda Civic EX Coupe VTEC" is listed at 2305lbs with the 262/201 brakes.

I should just start physically writing this stuff down directly in my GCR as the new Fastracks come out.

There was no mention of the EX weight. Maybe I should have built one of those instead.

The EX is still at 2305. The EX can also run the OEM drum rear or the disc conversion... (I don't know if the Si came with rear disc) I love my EX :P

Yes, all of the EG Si's came with four wheel discs.

    290lbs, Matt. :P

I just might have to set the ITC car at 2330lbs one weekend, drop a Z6 into it, run it in ITE, and see what I can do. Matt, you got an extra Z6 laying around?
