old zcars never die...they become racecars!...it will always bee a good car. It has some brake issues, but most cars do. It also is carbed but that does not seem to be an issue. I loved mine and it still fits the ITS model well. You just need to spend some $$ and time to make them right...oh and they are a blast to drive at speed!

They make a great race car that feels like a race car. And the best part is with this forum you have access to all the tricks to make it fast and keep it cheap.

"Cheap" as compared to front runners in ITS. "RX-7 around $35,000"...(Assimilated 325s) $40,000plus, 240sx....$20,000, 240z around $10,000-$20,000, depending on route taken to create engine.

    Cheap .....Relative term no doubt

Mr. Spillman hit the nail on the head. A Z is cheap relative to other popular cars in the class, I think.

I never save racing related receipts; I really don't know what I have in my car and I like it that way.

If you decide to ditch the 510 put a post on here. I've been thinking about doing some vintage racing but don't really want to change my ITC 510 to do it.
