I see the Triumph is going to vacation at the beach in August. That V8 should enjoy stretching it's legs. Glad to see you making the trip down. Is there a Lotus on the way also???

Cool looking forward to meeting you! Did you ever do anything with that FI manifold?

The TR8 buddy, the Jensen, is sick. The motor, as predicted by many, was not an easy fix as the rod big end was out of round......so, it is laid up awaiting disassembly.....But it was not the Lotus engine's fault, but my stupidity that killed it, so no ill will toward Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious.

Jim/Evan, yes sir, the Green Monster goes South. This is my one Daytona trip, grew up down South and have to make one pilgrimmage to the Palace of Speed. Really looking forward to it.

Evan, I am building an FI motor for next year. My builder says the FI intake alone is so much better than the carb intake that despite what the carbs flow, the FI motor should do better. We'll see. I have to say that right now, the car is making good power. It's problems are brakes and aero. Brakes I'll sort; aero, we'll see. Looking for a rare factory hardtop......

Jeff, thats great you are going to Daytona. We have been thinking about taking our 8s there. It will be interesting to see how you do. My brother will be there racing his A/S mustang that weekend. I will tell to to stop by and look you up

Cool, it'll be great to see the "not so common" race car there. Looking forward to it!

This is great. Give us the where and when and Isaac buys the beer. It's the least we can do.

I hope it's a Budweiser product or one of my sponsors will be upset

Jeff, let me know what your garage number is so I can give it to my brother. If you do not have a garage, my brother said it is worth the $25 when registering. I think he said they let you in the track on Friday by garage numbers, and if you do not have one you are the last to enter the track

I did get a garage, but the website won't tell me which one it is again. I'll PM or e-mail you my cell phone to give to your brother.

Jeff, you are in Yellow #5. It is trackside of the Nextel Cup garages near pit in.
