Memphis Area?

I'm currently in the Southeast SARRC series and run in FV. Started out crewing on an ITC Scirocco, so I am still an IT guy at heart.
I'm looking at taking a job in Memphis and relocating there.
How many and what are the tracks in that area; say within 5 hours? I have 6 within 5 hours of me now so there are plenty of opportunities to race here.
I'd like to hope that the Memphis area will be the same.

I don't know if any division is like the SE - must be nice.

We have a track here, Memphis Motorsports Park, Nashville (3 hours) seems to be coming on line, and the only other one w/i 5 hours is St. Louis (4 hours). There is Barber/Birmingham <5 hours but I&#39;m not sure if SCCA will be back there again. In a day&#39;s drive you can get to Hallett (OK), Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, Texas World; in a long day&#39;s drive, Charlotte and Topeka.

This is kind of off topic, but I was just in Memphis for the first time last weekend and can honestly say that it was a pretty freaking cool city. Amazing food, fantastic music, friendly people, and Beale Street is an absolute blast! I was down there for four days visiting some old friends.

Also, FWIW, Mid Ohio would be about 10-11 hours from there.

Just a slight correction - MidAmerica Motorplex in Pacific Junction, IA is about 100 miles south of Sioux City, IA. It&#39;s about 20 miles south of Omaha, NE. I know that&#39;s still a long ways from Memphis, but MVRG will again host the MidAm Bonus Race. Hopefully some of the MidSouth drivers will come to visit!
