Tropical 12 Hour @ Homestead

I can't stand it anymore - I was down in Homestead last weekend for the Kumho Tropical 12 Hour which apparently is the best kept secret Enduro race in America. Even the FL Region's website hides the event so that participation was rather disappointing.

This was my second year crewing for RC Imports at this event and the result was much better than last year when their renter grenaded a motor at about hour 5. This year, after several setbacks including an engine change on Friday, RC Imports finished 1st in P2 and 3rd OA!!

1st OA, 1st in class - Robinson Motorsports - Spec Racer Ford
2nd OA, 1st in class - Troysport Performance Group - Porsche 911 - SPO
3rd OA, 1st in class - RC Imports - Mercedes 190E 16v - P2

I found it on mylaps. Wasn't sure if the Marvin/Ira 240Z ran or not. I know they have won it in the past. Doesn't look like they ran this year.
