Evan...where do you find these things on the computer?!

It all looks cool except for one thing...my maniacal fear of heights! But, just like reality TV, the only way we get to see it is with another guy doing the same thing, but carrying a camera.

It's the perfect compliment to racing. No one said we were sane, either.

    Cool!

I wonder what the glide ratio is? Looks about 45 degrees. Control? Can they turn? THe first part of the jump...the dive to get the speed up ...looks scariest!

I imagine tall thin guys have better luck than short fat guys!

That is one thing I must do before I die...at least out of a plane though!! there is another cool website (the one that sells them) with cool links:

    http://phoenix-fly.com/

there is a link in there somewhere that has some guy with an inflatable wing strapped to his back and he flies thru the mountains...insane!

That looks crazy! I can't even imagine trying to get myself off that ledge.

I realize that this is not nearly as radical, but cool none-the-less. My wife and I are thinking of making a trip to give it a try...

Holy Rocky the Flying Squirrel - tres cool.

I'll bet the HALO military types are playing with that technology. Even without zoomy wing suits they can traverse pretty impressive distances for infiltration.

If I recall, that was also shown in one of the Laura Kroft movies. Sure would hate to hit a wind shear while doing that.

yea but it looks like its worth the risk!! the type of thing you dream about when you are a kid (and even an adult)!! I read on their website you can slow your fall down to 40mph! thats alot of hangtime from a plane!

That looks like the same kind of suit used in the crossing of the Channel, except he had a jet engine on his back. Just think that 94 years ago the first man to fly across the English Channel, now man has flown the Channel without an aircraft (well except for the take-off).
