    The PDX is the SCCA name for a HPDE or HPCCC. It is a track day event. It is designed for street cars although you can use a SS or IT car if it has two seats and equal belts. This is a great chance for people to learn what it is like to drive on a racetrack. There is limited passing and it is not a competition. The event uses riding instructors to coach you.

    This is a great chance for your crew, spouse or whoever to get there first taste of on track driving. If you are a current scca driver you can sign up to be an instructor and I think they are giving instructors free track time. Noam Levine is the chief instructor.

    Thanks for the reply Dick. What is the cost? Will they be using Nascar 1 & 2?

    Dick, Brian, Kathy, or whomever can answer the questions!!!

    I looked around and couldn't find any info on this other than what you (dick) have mentioned and what I know from prior meetings/discussions. Do you know when registrtion info will be posted on line?

    Thanks;
