So which way do these things get mounted? There's no directional arow. The V toward or against the direction of wheel travel?

    Am I missing something??

Does it matter or is it just that by merely owning them it will never rain!!!!! :P

Doc. Every street tire I have seen that has a V tread style is mounted with the sharp end of the V pointed forward on the top of the tire >>>>>>>>>>>>> forward.

Think of them as an arrow.............point the arrow in the direction you want to go.....

    Hey Rob,

My Z3's had both Goodyear GS-D2's and Toyo T1S's, both V-tread designs and on both sets the narrow end of the V-tread hits pavement first when going forward. Or another way to look at it, if you look at the front of the tire, you'll see the V pointing down like in this photo:

I wouldn't worry. Having those handy will mean it will never rain.

    Thanks Guys.

That's exactly how I told them. I wasn't sure if there was no marking because they could be spun around or something like that.
