I'm redoing my ITC Rabbit and I no longer have a headlight switch in the car. Can I legally remove the wiring to the headlights? I'm just looking to neaten up the engine compartment.

Technically...no. But if you did, you wouldn't be the first or the last.

No, and the headlight switch removal is a new one to me. IT rx-7s often get checked for non existant headlights...gotta have 'em.

The headlight switch had become a toggle switch on the panel I installed to accomodate additional instrumentation. I had a new panel made to change from 2 1/16" to 2 5/8" instrumants and eliminated that toggle switch.

The headlights are still there. (A little more visible than the RX7 headlights.)
