I've often heard of people using a less expensive camber tool that utilizes a bubble such as a traditional level. While I see the benefit of a tool like the smart camber (electronic), its simply out of my budget. From what I found, places sell the bubble style camber tool for under $40.

One issue that I would imagine this has is that the camber would need to be measured on a flat surface. My garage is fairly level and could make shims to make it level. Hopefully you'll tell me that the tool has some wonderful way of adjusting for unlevel surfaces.

The bubble thing works great. The flat floor does help but you can also measure the floor and correct for it. The actual # doesnt mean that much, but after you find what works, you can duplicate it easily.
