    I have a 77 280z.

Can I run early 240z NON 5mph bumpers?
Can I run my own custom bumpers?
Can I run the stock bumpers with no shocks?

I have been reading the rules over and over again but it seams GCR says stock bumpers, and sometimes I see all sorts of bumpers in pictures.

    Thanks in advance,

    Josh

GCR trumps pictures. Stock bumpers only, for any year of the 280z listed on the same line in the GCR. So, if the 77 and 75 are listed on the same line (I think they are), then you can use 75 bumpers on a 77 and vice versa. Since the 240z is on a different line, as is the 280zx and the 260z, you can't use those bumpers on your car.

    Thanks.

Now how about this one, what about bumper covers. Seems in recent GCR there was a small note about bumper covers. There are combo bumper covers/bumpers which eliminate the stock bumper, but ad the bumper profile to the lines of the car.

Joshua--The correct answer is NO to all your questions. The stock bumpers, covers and bracketry for year and model stay.

    Sorry
