MB 2.3 16 valve

Does anyone run the 87 MB 16 valve car in ITS? How is it and how long will that engine run without rebuild? I know it runs at 2800# now. What HP does the engine make. In short will this car run with the 240Z,2nd gen RX7 or the BMW?

These look great but are they up to the ITS front runners? Its a 4 banger and the Z car and the BMW are an inline six. No I dont expect to buy a used one off the lot and win any race,just wanted your input on how they stack up in the top ten.

check out Irish Mikes 16V in ITS...track record at Daytona and usually at the front in Atlanta......

Actually Rick's cars are ITE b/c of brakes. Rob Coch runs an ITS 190E 16v in the MARRS series. His car is block stock except for some fairly minor suspension work. Chuck Allard runs a 190E 2.6 in ITS as well albeit with a more developed suspension. Neither car is a front runner and probably will never be so until they lose weight.

Rick is certainly "da man" when it comes to these cars having raced them in World Challenge and Grand Am Cup as well as Club.

Mike's track record for the Sebring Long Course stood for 2 years until lowered this month by Carlos Garcia in a BMW.

The car is a front runner but is not cheap.

Well since I dont know the RC team personally I dont know whos car was who, I just know it ran under the RC banner.
