Too bad we will never see it, you could save space by parking it under your Excursion

But if there was a way to get it here I would have one in a hot minute.

yeah...it's way cool....but hey, it's only tubes and pedal sets and brake calipers and such...I bet you could get half of it at Pegasus! Add an RX 8 rotary, some tweaking, and start welding!

Top Gear is (was) the BEST show on the tellie, but sadly Discovery, rumour has it, pulled the plug, after Jeremy Clarkson, ( a british journalist) wrote about what dummies we americans were for the whole Katrina thing in his London papers column. Sadly, he was largley right!

Anyway, I have no idea if it will get picked up again or not. Shame really, because the Brits blow us out of the water when it comes to TV car shows.

I am dying for them to put every show on DVD, or I would kill to find a download source.

Actually, there is a US distribtuor/manufacturer for this vehicle. Go to www.dpcars.net and check out video of a test drive by a guy (who is building his own sports racer) with a helmet cam. I believe it is on the DP1 page.

Imo Firth Gear is way better than Top Gear. And Tiff can drive circles around Jeremy Clarkson out on the track, too. That guy is actually a very good driver, while on many occasions Mr. Clarkson seems so full of himself.

After watching this (with the normal biological reaction), I called my cardialogist to see if it was okay for me to get one. I hung up after 15 minutes of hearing him laugh.

But Clarkson is a hoot, is imaginative, and opinionated.

Sure Tiff can drive...but I'm not sure that's the point of Top Gear...

They have the "Stig" for that..(now on V3)

I guess that's the really nice way of putting it.

Having said that, I watch both shows when I can.
