Why can't I reply?

I tried to reply to a classified ad (or two) but was told that action was not allowed. I can post to other topics though. Why?

Classified are for posting only. Prevents unwanted negative postings like "Dont buy this car! It's not legal" Read the post on "How to use the classifieds"
