Keep your eyes and ears open folks. Let's see if we can't help out one of our own! Watch for any ads or Ebay posts you see for specialty items like a used Neon roll cage, race seat, racing item...etc.

There's a picture in another section of this forum but I don't know how to post it:

Last night, Lauren R, SCCA's Pit Worker of the Year had her ITA Neon stolen in Baltimore, MD . Keep an eye out for it which shouldn't be too difficult since it is in full race trim - Lauren is one of the few who actually DRIVES her car to the track!!

To quote Lauren, If you see someone driving it, call the cops then cut their nuts off for me.

    Thanks!!

I also noticed it has the 15" Mopar comp Neon stamped wheels. Hard to find these days. Keep your eyes on Ebay!

    Hi All!!

Thanks for posting that! The Neon was finally found again in mid February making it gone for 2 and a half months. Apparently it had been sitting down by train tracks all winter in a very drug infested area of Baltimore. Luckily there was not much damage. I lost tools, spare parts, the battery, wheels and tires but they were the rain tires and the 14" wheels. Guess the guy looked at the race tires and figured they were bald. ;-) Anyways, I had my first race with it this weekend since it was stolen and it felt like old home week.... :-) Thanks again for all the support last winter!

Great to see you got back on track! I saw a thread about where to go with the car. Think F Production. I think the car could be killer there and I'm thinking about it myself. We can get almost 243 HP out of that motor. Just a matter of figuring out the suspension. If you really load up the rear springs the car ALMOST comes around. I think you might have to bend some stuff... "fell off the trailer"... to get it right.
