With all of the wacky weather across the country, we had a bit of it here in the mountains. Wildcat Mountain opened today with 41" of snow from the week. I put down my tools and strapped on some skis this afternoon.

I had to share a picture of October skiing. Makes my short car racing season a bit more palatable. A strange year indeed...

I am sooooo not ready for this..

I'm going to be instructing with the BMW CCA at NHIS tomorrow and they're predicting snow showers. Anybody have recommended starting pressures for Blizzaks?

    WOW!

And here, on the coast of CT, the trees are mostly still green. I would say only 10-15% are down and only 15% are colored...fully 70% are still green.

I can remember Halloweens where the trees were completely bare.

Other than the 15" of rain that one week, the weather has been rather nice!

I just dropped the board and skis off at NOTB to get a tuneup for the season. I heard Wildcat opened and I had to get my stuff ready. Forget about the racecars, its time for some riding!
