I know this has been covered but i couldent find what i was looking for regarding torsen diffs in particular

i have been doing a lot of research on oils for differentials. it seems most people opt for the redline 75w90. i have also read that torsen differentials are particular in the oils used. i run a 4.88 torsen, is redline 75w90 or valvoline 75w90 a good choice for this diff?

    thanks

Although I am the 3rd owner, my SpeedSource car came w/ the original recommendations re fluids, etc. At that time (1999) they recommeded 75/90 Valvoline Synthethic or Mobil 1 in the diff. and tranny. That's what I've been using.

    Think Swepco 201.

I run it in my gear boxes and rear ends. I had nothign but bad luck with redline, and will not use their products. The swepco cured the 3rd gear crunch that the gear box developed with redline.
    Try it!
