Atta boy Dickita!!!!

I heartily support the call. Dick is a guy who is like a vapor...he seems to be everywhere, but often appears behind the scenes working quietly. Off the top of my head, I can remember him instructing, he's a licensed tech inspector, he is the "assistant to the Comp Board Chairman", he writes a great write up in the regions newsletter about the Comp Boards news, and he is spearheading the search for the elusive combination of a town, a parcel of land, and a pile of money, so that NER can build it's own track.

Over the years, he has probably flagged every corner of Lime Rock and NHIS, he's probably flagged most of Mid Ohio (and probably Road Atlanta too!) for the Runoffs, he has held a bucket of official positions, most notably Region Executive, and he has a comprehensive knowledge base on the inner workings of the club, both at the regional and national level.

Oh, he also races, and is known as a fair driver who you can trust.

Whenever I need insight, I know I can go to him, and get an opinion, which may, or may not, agree with my view, but which is always backed by sound reasoning. More than once he has pointed out sides to an issue that have changed my mind.

NER counts on him as a very important gear in the machine, and he (among others, of course, they'll get theirs another year) certainly deserves the honor.

Hee hee...no I remember it as if it was today....but funny thing, ever since then, when ever I am around you on the track, I feel like I have a force field! Not sure what others ...in Miatas etc, might say, .... ....but you seem veeery trustworthy to me!
