Watching coverage on the web of hurricane Katrina and thought of the Cajuns.

Hopefully you guys made it out during the evacuation (and brought your cars!!!).

Echo that, I hope everyone here has fared safely in the Gulf Coast area.

A customer placed an order Friday for delivery today--in New Orleans. When we called yesterday to check on everything, Ma Bell said "All circuits are busy."

We had three hurricanes come through here last year, but nothing like this.

All of us in Baton Rouge are okay. Temporary loss of electricity, downed trees, etc., but no loss of life or limb. I haven't been able to get in contact with some of my racing friends in New Orleans, the north shore, or the Gulf shore. The land lines are down everywhere. Cell phones rarely, but sometimes work for the areas hit. My understanding is that text messaging is just about the only way to get through.
