89 E350 coolant leak - help!

howdy folks. My van is a big ole 89 E350 with the 351W engine. I have a coolant leak and I can't see where it's coming from. I know I'm going to be tearing into the engine at some point to get to it but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this engine and might now where it's coming from.

From what I can tell it is leaking out somewhere on top of the engine. The coolant will first run down the front, but eventually it will pool up on the top and run down the back side as well.

I don't think it's a head gasket because it runs fine and the exhaust is normal. Does the intake manifold have coolant running through it?

My old E van had a leak from the manifold gasket. also check the coolant lines from the manifold to the throttle body. The lines are rubber approx 5/16. Good luck.....
