    I always do. Off the cuff it seems to me that an out of balance tire would heat up more, but I suppose I have them balanced out of habit more than anything else.

    Balancing the trailer tires are not necessary. If you have a problem with vibration from the trailer, then I would recommend it.

    Jon--It is not done.

    Why? Beats me. Obviously people don't ride in trailers and feel the vibrations. If you want to do it, go for it.

    I suppose the same question can be put to local oval drivers--especially modifieds. No one balances those huge tires, probably because no one wants to wrastle with them "tars".
