12 Hours At The Point
Just a note to all the drivers who were on the track for the 12 hour on Saturday, thanks for creating a great race. 54 cars on 2 miles means lots of traffic & I think I speak for the other drivers on the team when I say that everyone was most polite. Lots of point bys, rear blinkers from the SRX7 guys (they're the ones I remember at least), no blocking or shoving. In the 4 hours I drove, I only had a couple of close calls, all due to simple racing conditions, not beligerent driving.
For those on the track with me, I hope I gave you enough room, I tried my best, we were on a bit of mission.
Thanks again for a great race.

Andy,
Matt was with the 2nd place overall, 1st in ITS, #23Team CRS Miata.
Not bad for a car that gives up 100 HP to the BMW.

Yes and no. It started at noon and finished at midnight, but there was a 1 hour stoppage for lightning. They didn't want to fry any of the course marshalls.

Enjoy,
